Direct text transfer, device to device
FileTransferX's text tool moves a short message straight between two devices — a one-time code, a link, a password, a quick note — without opening a chat app or emailing it to yourself. Pick Send Text on the device that has the message, and Receive Text on the other, then pair them with a QR code or a short transfer code. No account, no chat history, nothing saved.
It uses the same direct, device-to-device connection as FileTransferX's file transfer tool — nothing you send passes through or sits on a server in between. Once paired, the message arrives on the other device the instant it's sent, and closing the tab clears the session.
Use it for anything you'd rather type once than twice: a Wi-Fi password read off one screen, a verification code needed on another device, a link you don't want to email yourself. If you need to move photos, videos, or documents instead, use the file transfer tool.
