By using FileTransferX at filetransferx.com, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the service.

What FileTransferX is

FileTransferX is a free, browser-based tool for transferring files between devices using a QR code or short transfer code. It does not require an account and does not permanently store the files you transfer.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use FileTransferX to:

• Transfer content that is illegal, infringing, or that you don't have the right to share.
• Distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful code.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the service or other users' transfers.
• Use the service in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international law.

Your content

You retain all rights to the files you transfer. Because FileTransferX does not store files after a transfer completes, you are solely responsible for keeping your own copies and for the content you choose to send.

No warranty

FileTransferX is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. Transfers depend on your network conditions and device capabilities, and we don't guarantee that any given transfer will succeed, be uninterrupted, or be error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FileTransferX and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data resulting from a failed or interrupted transfer.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of FileTransferX after a change means you accept the updated terms.
