Direct file transfer, device to device
FileTransferX is the direct way to move files between two devices. Pick Send Files on the device that has what you want to share, and Receive Files on the other, then pair them with a QR code or a short transfer code. No email attachment, no cloud upload, and no account required.
This is real device-to-device file transfer, not a file transfer online service that stores a copy on someone else's server while a recipient waits to download it. Once your devices are paired, files move directly between them, or through a secure relay when a direct connection isn't possible on your network. That is what makes large file transfer practical here: video files, RAW photo exports, and full folders move without hitting the size limits that email and many upload-based tools enforce.
The same Send and Receive flow works for every combination of devices. Use it for mobile to PC file transfer when you want your phone's photos on a laptop, for PC to PC file transfer between two computers on different networks, or for Android to iPhone file transfer, where AirDrop and Nearby Share don't apply. Nothing you send is stored after the transfer finishes, and closing the tab clears the session, so pick Send or Receive above whenever you're ready to start.
